Code of Conduct

Your Community Guidelines

This Code of Conduct is expected to be followed by all attendees of Floorplay Swing Vacation (FNYE), regardless of their role. Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, removal from an event without refund, suspension, exclusion from future West Coast Wednesdays events, or any other action deemed appropriate by FPNYE. FPNYE reserves the right to interpret and enforce this Code of Conduct in its reasonable discretion.

Floorplay Swing Vacation (FPNYE) is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment where people can dance, socialize, and enjoy each other's company.

FPNYE expects all attendees to treat one another with respect and kindness at all times. Attendees must conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner.

Sexual harassment, unwanted sexual advances, nonconsensual physical contact, harassment, bullying, intimidation, targeted harassment, rumor-spreading, personal attacks, or deliberate attempts to damage someone's reputation or create conflict within the community are not acceptable.

Attendees are encouraged to report concerns directly to FPNYE rather than discussing allegations with other members of the community or third parties. FPNYE expects all participants to act responsibly and in good faith and to refrain from knowingly making, republishing, or encouraging the dissemination of false statements or unsubstantiated accusations that could unfairly harm another person's reputation.

FPNYE celebrates inclusion and diversity.
FPNYE does not tolerate sexism, racism, ageism, heterosexism, or any other form of discrimination, harassment, or oppressive conduct intended to harm others.

Our Code of Conduct is intended to promote a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment for all members of our community. Anyone who becomes aware of conduct that may violate this Code of Conduct or present a legitimate safety concern is encouraged to promptly report it to Floorplay Swing Vacation through its online complaint submission form or by contacting an event organizer, April Prince, Hugo Miguez or Stacy Kay, at info@floorplayswingvacation.com. Individuals submitting reports are encouraged to provide the information reasonably necessary to permit a fair review, including, where available:

The names of the individuals involved;
The date, time, and location of the incident;
A description of the conduct;
The names of any witnesses; and
Any photographs, videos, messages, or other relevant information.

Individuals submitting reports are also encouraged to cooperate in any resulting review by providing any additional information that is reasonably requested by FPNYE.

If you believe you have been the victim of a crime, have witnessed a crime, or become aware of conduct that may constitute a criminal offense, you are encouraged to promptly report the matter to the appropriate law enforcement agency so it can be investigated and an official record can be created. Criminal matters are appropriately addressed by law enforcement, while FPNYE will address matters within the scope of this Code of Conduct.

Together, we can continue to make Floorplay Swing Vacation a positive, welcoming, and respectful community for everyone.

Incident Report

Floorplay Swing Vacation is committed to creating a safe, welcoming space free from hatred, discrimination, harassment, or intolerance

To uphold our Code of Conduct, we have designed this incident or concern form for our attendees to report any instance that they may have witnessed or encountered that violates our policies.

You’re always welcome to speak directly with the event directors, but we understand that may not feel comfortable for everyone.

You can submit a report anonymously if you’d like, though this may limit how fully we can respond.

The event directors will evaluate the report and decide on an appropriate course of action based on the information given.
